Time is up! Both Postdoc and Research Staff contracts are expired. Rather than working with Postdocs and Research Staff quickly to find solutions that address the rising cost of living, ICE attacks, and discrimination and harassment, UW Administration continues to use the federal administration as excuses to propose 1% raises, ignore proposals to increase job security and safety against ICE, and weaken non-discrimination and harassment protections.
UAW 4121 members are coming together to show that the UW Researchers that power this university’s world-class research enterprise rejects UW Admin’s strategy. Join union colleagues at the Massive March on the Boss on September 23 at noon, and pledge to vote “Yes” in an upcoming Strike Authorization Vote so we can build power together for fair and strong contracts for Researchers at UW!
